Hello and welcome to my very first Coach Ed newsletter!

I’ve decided to take the plunge and start my own weekly newsletter. That’s another doubt well and truly conquered!

This is the beginning of something meaningful, a weekly moment of mindset, leadership, and learning, straight to your inbox every Monday. Because here at Coach Ed, I believe leadership doesn’t begin with a job title. It begins with how you choose to show up, especially at the start of the week.

And here’s what makes this space special: each week, I’ll weave in insights, tools, and frameworks designed especially for two groups I care deeply about, recent graduates stepping into the world of work, and emerging leaders finding their voice and confidence. Whether you're navigating your first role or your first team, you're not doing it alone.

🧠 The Mindset Shift: From Have To → Get To

Let’s talk about Mondays.

For many, Mondays feel heavy, something we have to survive. But what if we changed the narrative?

“We don’t 'have' to do Mondays. We 'get' to do Mondays.”

It’s a tiny shift in language, but a huge shift in mindset.

“I get to go to work.” “I get to take care of my health.” “I get to lead today.”

When we approach our week with gratitude and intention, we access a deeper kind of leadership, one rooted in presence and personal power.

Values matter deeply to me. If I’m going to write a newsletter, it has to align with who I am and the work I care about. That means checking in with my values weekly, and what better way to do that than by weaving them right into the newsletter? A little accountability, in action.
